Kleinbokkiehaar styg met 6.9% / The price of kids increased by 6.9%

MARKANALISE

Die tweede sybokhaarveiling van die 2019 winter verkoopseisoen is vandag, 3 September 2019, in Port Elizabeth aangebied. Die gemiddelde markaanwyser was R248.57/kg. Prysvlakke vergeleke die eerste veiling aangebied, is hoër vir kleinbokkkies; 'n redelike daling vir jongbokke en aansienlik laer vir grootbokke.  Die beste prys van die dag het aan LW Wagener, Willowmore, gegaan wat R514.00/kg vir winter kleinbokkiehaar behaal het. Samil was die koper.

Vandag se veilingsanalise is as volg:  Kleinbokkiehaar styg met 6.9% met `n markaanwyser van R400.43/kg en 94% is verkoop;  jongbokhaar daal met 3.7% met `n markaanwyser van R273.54/kg en `n verkoop persentasie van 97%.  Grootbokhaar daal met 9.0% met `n markaanwyser van R190.75/kg en 82% verkoop. Dit het die totale verkope op 89.4% te staan gebring met `n markaanwyser van R248.57/kg wat 'n daling van 3.1% is.

MARKVOORUITSIG

Die vooruitsig vir die komende veiling is dat die pryse van grootbokhaar en dié van sterk jongbokhaar steeds onder druk gaan verkeer terwyl die van fyn jongbokhaar en winter kleinbokkie haar onveranderd op huidige vlakke gaan verhandel. Die volgende veiling word in Port Elizabeth aangebied op 25 September 2019. So berig  Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Sybokhaar Bestuurder.


MARKET ANALYSIS

The second sale of the 2019 winter season took place in Port Elizabeth today, 3 September 2019. The average market indicator closed on R248.57/kg. Price levels when compared to the previous sale are higher for kid mohair, slightly lower for young goats and considerably lower for adults.  LW Wagener from Willowmore fetched the highest price of R514.00/kg today for winter kids. Samil was the buyer.

Today's sales analysis is as follows:  The price of kids increased by 6.9% with a market indicator of R400.43/kg and a 94% sale clearance; young goat hair decreased by 3.7% with a market indicator of R273.54/kg and a sale clearance of 97%. Adult mohair decreased by 9.0% with a market indicator of R190.75/kg and 82% sold. This brought the overall sale clearance to 89.4% and the overall market indicator to R248.57/kg which is a decrease of 3.1%.

MARKET OUTLOOK

It seems as if there will still be some pressure on adults and strong young goats whilst the fine young goat and winter kids will be unchanged and sell on current levels for the coming sale.  The next sale will be held in Port Elizabeth on the 25th of September 2019.
